For more than 65 years, the Loveless Cafe has been offering families and friends a place where they can enjoy a home-cooked Southern meal. In 1951, Lon and Annie Loveless opened their front doors to sell fried chicken and biscuits to hungry travelers on Highway 100 in Nashville. Their scratch-made dishes became so popular that they soon converted their home into a restaurant and built a 14-room motel for overnight guests. Many decades later, our iconic neon sign welcomes more than half a million visitors each year and we make up to 10,000 biscuits each day using Annie's original recipe. Given these roots of big-hearted hospitality, the Loveless Cafe has become a Nashville landmark that stays true to its Southern flavor.
